The BFLC operates seminary, pre-seminary and continuing pastoral education for pastors and gospel workers to be thoroughly grounded in God's Word and confessional Lutheran doctrine.

Training Lutheran pastors at the seminary was initiated by Rev.  Bhushana Rao Dasani. His influence and foundational work through the guidance of the triune God can still be seen and heard. 

 

One of the professors at the seminary, Dr Raj Kumar, translated the Book of Concord into Telugu language. Other translation projects continue.

 

Visiting Lutheran college professors and pastors from the United States travel to India to teach short term classes annually.
